Active Hope - Urban Adventure Project
Over the past few years Active Hope has been delivering residential holidays for children in difficult and deprived areas of Warrington. The project delivers fantastic holiday experiences giving children and young people opportunities that would normally be out of their reach. A typical residential is 3 days and 2 nights away and includes activities such as mountain biking, den building and camping. They are supported by a team of volunteers who prepare all of their meals.
To enable this work to continue to grow, we would love to be able to purchase a multi-purpose trailer and a sizeable roof rack. This would allow us to transport all of the children's bags, food and our equipment e.g. mountain bikes, kayaks, tents etc. to the residential site in one go.
With this resource Active Hope would be able to serve more children within our community, offering these wonderful life changing residential holidays.
